The day we met
What a great day it was. Her eyes had me in a trance from the second I saw them. We were both in great spirits and ready for some fun out of town and excited for a live game.
Our first trip to Siesta
After dating for a month we decided to go and see how we travel together by going on a short trip after Christmas. We decided on Siesta Key because Noelle had never been to the #1 beach in the USA, so I had to get her there.
The proposal
In TN we stopped to see my family before heading on to Michigan to see hers a day later. On the way up I knew I was going to ask her. Nerve wracking to drive all that way knowing I was going to be getting down on one knee at the end of the drive/day. My Maamaw's yard is sacred ground to me. I loved playing there as a kid, and in a million years never thought I would ask the woman of my dreams to marry me there, but when the thought hit me, it became so very clear that this special place was absolutely the spot! When we finally arrived later that day, I lied and told her I was going to get Maamaw's mail like I do all the time. I walked around the back of the truck ring in hand, nervous, pointed to a tree and when she looked away for just that one second, I got down on my knee and asked her to be my wife. She was very stunned, said "yes" immediately and then kissed me and hugged me. And here we are today still as happy as we were in that moment in time. It's as if we're still in that moment with each other, but time is still moving on around us.
Our special day
After a healthy engagement to plan everything the way we wanted it, here we are celebrating with you. Thank you for your interest, your friendship, your love and your kindness. We appreciate your efforts to be with us and so happy to celebrate our union together with such amazing people. Truly from the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being here!

How it’s all gonna go down...
FRIDAY - Bachelor & Bachelorette Parties
If you're coming for the full weekend and want to be included in these festivities, please contact Keith (407) 620-2673, or Justine (407) 879-2673. This is scheduled for Friday afternoon arrival in Siesta to start the fun. The girls will go one way and the guys will go the other. We will meet up at some point in the middle to converge the parties into one maelstrom. Watch out Siesta Key, here we come!
SATURDAY - It's up to you! (Tap/click here for ideas)
There are so many things to do in Siesta Key/ Sarasota, have fun and explore. Try and take in a few historical treasures today in this beautiful seaside town, OR do nothing at all on the #1 beach in the USA. (No. 1 in 2017 and No. 2 in 2018). At the "Great International White Sand Beach Challenge" held in 1987, it was recognized as having the "whitest and finest sand in the world." Unlike beaches elsewhere that are made up mostly of pulverized coral, Siesta Beach's sand is 99% quartz, most of which comes from the Appalachian Mountains.
SATURDAY - Need a sunset in your life? (Tap/click here)
Words cannot describe what it’s like to experience sunset here. Weather permitting, we'd love for everyone to come and share a moment on this legendary beach with us for a toast to life and all the blessings it brings.
SUNDAY - Game time! - (Tap/click)
Ceremony @ Turtle Beach. The moment we've all been awaiting, the reason you flew, drove down, or over here through countless tourist driving debacles and other crazy 'Florida Man' events, just to watch the two of us say sweet words back and forth about how much we love each other. Yuck, I know, right, but you'll get through it. Hey, at least it's on the beach. We promise the ceremony will be short. Oh yeah, attire for the event will be beach wedding casual. This doesn't mean Speedo's, or bathing suits, but use your best judgement without breaking out the three piece suits or any gown's. Noelle says, "think Margaritaville style".
SUNDAY - Reception & Dining (Tap/click)
Turtles on Little Sarasota Bay 8875 Midnight Pass Road Sarasota, FL 34242 Tel: 941-346-2207 . The world famous Turtles restaurant is just a short 5 min walk from the ceremony location. We will have cocktails and hors d'oeuvres and then a selection of three dishes for an amazing dinner. Some good tunes will set the mood overlooking a beautiful bay front and marina. Best man and Maid of Honor speeches will be delivered here as well.
SUNDAY - Siesta Key Drum circle (Tap/click)
For two decades, every Sunday evening, a large melting pot of folks show up on the beach to create a very tribal experience on the most perfect of settings. As the sun is going down and the drummers are drumming, it stokes a primordial feeling of thankfulness to be alive. It is quite the spectacle for your eyes and a unique audible experience you won’t soon forget.
SUNDAY - Back to our place (Tap/click)
Come back to our quaint lil place for some dancing, drinks and fun! The legendary DJ Rob-E will have his gear warmed up and ready to jam. We can hang out in, or by the pool while he throws down some funky stuff, maybe he can play a country song or two for Noelle. There's a grill for some late night snacks and the patio vibe is a lot of fun. We acquired the whole building so we won't disturb anyone else staying there. The neighbors, different story.
MONDAY - Check out and Goodbye's
(You have to sing this like the Mouseketeers do.) Now it's time to say goodbye to all our company, S-I-E-S-T-A, see you again another day, K-E-Y, Why? Because we like you! B-E-A-C-H... Truly from the bottom of our hearts thank you for helping us make these lifetime memories so special. We will thankfully forever hold you in our hearts!
